My client is a highly regarded Luxembourg finance professional, offering independent directorship, RR and RC services to a range of AIFM and UCITS focused clients.
We are seeking an excellent AML KYC Compliance professional who would like to work a 50 – 60% working week in a stable small environment, where your contribution really matters, being the trusted sole support to the RC on AML and control matters.
Operating under the management of the RC, in this role, you will:
- Carrying out AML/CFT due diligence, including the preparation of different regular/ad hoc reports for the Fund’s Board of Managers/Directors, Senior Management as well as regulators/authorities.
- Be responsible for AML/CFT related issues, albeit being able to escalate any issue up to your manager
- Performing due diligence on assets, ongoing screening and transaction monitoring.
- Regular review of the AML/CFT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and market best practice
- Act as deputy- advisor for the Board of Managers of the respective Funds on AML/CFT related matters.
- Assist with the preparation of periodic and annual AML/CTF reports to Board of Managers/Directors of the respective Funds, the Senior Management and regulators/authorities.
Candidate Requirements
Your Required Expertise
- At least 7 years of professional experience in a similar role in Luxembourg within AML/CFT, specifically within the field of investment funds
- You will be a reliable “safe pair of hands”, with have a strong attention to detail and the knowledge to know when to challenge and escalate issues
- You will be able to work independently, whilst fostering great working relationships with third parties team
- You will be eager to continue your professional development, but happy in stable role, where scope for career progression is very limited; hence you must enjoy your work
- You will be motivated to satisfy client expectations and hold yourself to high standards of conduct and technical skills.
- You must be fluent in English, with any other languages being considered an asset
- You will have a university degree in a relevant field.
