Role includes:
o Leading and oversight of the review of valuation for a mixed portfolio of alternative investments
o Consider and challenge valuation reports
o Lead technical valuation assistance, provide advice on methodologies, best practice and complex valuation aspects
o Manage and provide leadership to a team of valuation professionals
o Create a positive environment in which colleagues can thrive, encourage knowledge sharing and foster cohesion and a sense of ‘team’.
O Participate and lead transformation projects, develop current market practices, improve controls, enhance the use of AI and technological solutions
o Guide colleagues within fund onboarding teams from a valuation perspective.
Candidate Requirements
o At least 10 years of experience in valuation, risk and/or finance functions
o Strong expertise in valuation methodologies and practices
o Ability to demonstrate strong leadership with examples
o Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
o Very strong knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory market
o Practical experience of working in Luxembourg for 8+ years
o Sound expertise of various alternative investment strategies
o Be analytical, organized with excellent communication skills
o Demonstrate current and previous use of technology when leading transformational projects
o Have an analytical mindset, be intellectually curious and detail orientated.
