We are supporting an AIFM with a new hire, a Conducting Officer - Valuation.

In this position you act as the Conducting Officer, responsible for oversight of the investment valuation and monitoring process across their alternative investments.

Your tasks will include:
• Lead the investment valuation oversight function ensuring suitable due diligence and act as the investment valuation Conducting Officer of the AIFM
• Be part of the Investment Committee
• Document and monitor valuation procedures and pricing decisions and ensure adherence to the regulations
• Review of quarterly or monthly valuations for their mainly private debt investments
• Support and steer the management of their daily, monthly, quarterly and annual investment valuation process
• Contribute to the development and improvement of existing monitoring, valuation and reporting tools and processes
• Present reports to the AIFM and Boards

Experience required:
• The role holder will have likely 12-18 years of experience
• Worked in Luxembourg for a minimum of 5 years
• Sound experience of working at an AIFM in a similar capacity (valuation)
• 8+ years of alternative investment valuation experience - private equity or private debt
• English & French language skills preferred
