Accounting Manager - Private Credit
Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of fund and corporate services. They are looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team to focus on private credit funds.
This is a great opportunity if you have experiences of alternative fund structures and want to gain further knowledge of private credit funds. You will gain exposure to wider fund operations and the life cycle of the fund which might include associated transactions and attending board meetings.

Key responsibilities:
• Be a point of contact for all complex accounting matters and related queries, manage a small team.
• Reviewing all accounting aspects and overseeing the production and review of financial statements – ensuring all aspects are correct and compliant with company policy and procedures.
• Attend Board meetings and present quarterly financial information
• Work with various stakeholders including wider accounting team, senior management, audit, clients, and others
• Provide assistance to senior management and be involved in training, coaching and developing team
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require the following:
• Ideally 4 years + experience in alternatives fund accounting (e.g. debt, credit or PE/RE)
• Management or supervisory experience – having gained first experiences of managing a small team
• Ideally you will have an accounting or finance degree and/or be fully ACCA qualified or part qualified
• Excellent communication and client facing skills
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written, with another European language advantageous
